Illini Service Dogs Design
Logo and Illustration design for Illini Service Dogs Organization’s annual t-shirt fundraiser. Worked with client feedback and concepts to create final design.
Each year, University of Illinois nonprofit student group Illini Service Dogs, a club dedicated to training and providing service dogs to people with disabilities free of charge, holds a t-shirt fundraising sale. This design was created in cooperation with the group’s administration for the 2020 fundraiser.
I focused on logo design and illustration for this project. The organization wanted a simple, clean logo that included a paw print. I used one of my favorite typefaces for the text, which is very bold and straightforward, which not only pairs well with the illustration, but also represents accessibility, which ISD strives to bring to people with disabilities. For the shirt’s illustrations, primarily the dogs, it was one of my first official projects to incorporate illustration, a design medium I can see myself exploring more down the road.
